The Alpha Sigma Education Foundation exists to expand educational access, cultivate principled leadership, and strengthen communities through strategic investment, intellectual engagement, and purposeful service. Rooted in the enduring values of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated and inspired by a century of excellence from the Alpha Sigma Chapter at Wiley University, the Foundation is committed to creating opportunities that empower students, preserve institutional heritage, and generate lasting impact.

For nearly one hundred years, the members of Alpha Sigma have helped shape Wiley University, the City of Marshall, and communities across the nation. Since its founding, the chapter has produced leaders whose influence extends across education, business, science, medicine, law, ministry, public service, and civil rights advocacy. Their collective contributions stand as a testament to the transformative power of education, leadership, and service.

The Alpha Sigma Education Foundation was established to build upon that legacy and ensure that future generations have access to the same opportunities that helped shape those who came before them. Guided by the principle that service is most effective when paired with strategy, the Foundation transforms goodwill into sustainable impact through scholarships, leadership development initiatives, educational programming, cultural preservation efforts, and community engagement.
